Ready to explore the world in a different way? The YMCA Global Alternative Tourism Network (GATN) brings people together from all over the world through unique, socially-driven trips. These experiences combine cultural immersion, community service, and philanthropy to create adventures that leave a positive impact.
GATN, introduced by the Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs, focuses on Alternative Tourism—a responsible and sustainable way to travel that’s all about giving back. Unlike mass tourism, GATN is guided by the “CHANGE” principles:

Since 2013, YMCA KL has been part of this movement, hosting travellers who want to do more than just sightsee—they want to make a difference.
