The Music Development Club was formed in year 2015 with the purpose of the interest of setting up a YMCA KL Choir of musicians at the YMCA KL to form collaborations amongst members sharing their music knowledge and experience.

The objectives of the Music Development Club

  1. To set up a polyphonic and multilingual choir and performing purely from memory without score and notes.

Basic Rules & Regulations

  1. All members are to be Members of the YMCA KL prior to joining the Music Development Club.
  2. Members of the Club are required to pay a Monthly Club Membership Fee of RM10.00 per person.
  3. Students, Senior Citizens and Non-Working Adults pay a RM5.00 per month per person.
  4. Prior knowledge of Music is not a prerequisite.

3RD KUALA LUMPUR BOYS’ BRIGADE

The coolest boys in Brickfields.
The Boys’ Brigade is a global uniformed youth movement that originated in 1883 in Glasgow, Scotland, by Sir William Alexander Smith. With a presence in over 60 countries, the Boys’ Brigade was introduced to Malaysia in 1946 and is recognized as an official uniformed-unit in schools, endorsed by the Ministry of Education and is an affiliate member of the Malaysian Youth Council.

Founded in 1957, the 3rd Kuala Lumpur Company (3rd KLBB) has a longstanding tradition with YMCA KL, offering boys the opportunity to grow into young leaders. Through leadership development, outdoor activities, and life skills training, we help shape boys into confident young men.

Join the 3rd KL Boys’ Brigade during our Recruitment Month in January. Dress in sportswear and be ready for action!

SENIOR CITIZENS' CLUB

Revolutionising Healthier Senior Lifestyles
At YMCA KL, we’re committed to enhancing the lives of our senior members. The Senior Citizens’ Club, established in 1984, has evolved from a small group of seven visionary men to one of the most dynamic and successful clubs for seniors in the Klang Valley. We cater to members aged 55 and above, offering a vibrant community and a range of activities designed to promote health, happiness, and camaraderie.


How To Join The Club
Be part of the Senior Citizens’ Club—open to all YMCA Members aged 55 and above. Membership includes a one-time entrance fee of RM20.00 and a yearly subscription fee of RM20.00. Membership is valid until December 31 each year.

Basic Rules & Regulations

  1. Renewal: Please renew your membership by the last day of February each year. Late renewals require re-application.
  2. Membership Card: Carry your SCC Membership Card during gatherings. Failure to present it will result in a RM5.00 Guest Fee.
  3. Guest Policy: Non-members cannot join activities. Guests can attend for a RM5.00 fee if registered accordingly.
